Nairobi – Aberdares – Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Travel from Nairobi to the majestic Aberdare Mountain range to Nyahururu Falls and Lake Nakuru. Make a pit stop at the famous Treetops hotel, where then Princess Elizabeth became Queen, and end at the world famous Masai Mara Reserve home to lion, zebra, giraffe, gazelle, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest amongst other wildlife and spectacular African sunsets.

Day 1 Arrive Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! You will be met upon arrival in Nairobi and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Nairobi– Aberdares

After breakfast, drive north and into the Aberdare Mountain range arriving in time for lunch and then afternoon transfer to the legendary Treetops. Treetops became famous thanks to Queen Elizabeth (then Princess) who was visiting when she first heard the news of her ascendancy from Princess to Queen. Enjoy game viewing over a floodlit waterhole.

Day 3 Aberdares – Lake Nakuru

Head north‑west for Nyahururu Falls, a 237‑foot cascade and continue to the spectacular Lake Nakuru. Enjoy bird viewing including greater and lesser flamingo pink as well as rhino, Rothschild giraffe, eland, lion and waterbuck, during your afternoon game drive. Watch the spectacular African Sun set.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Your drive today takes you past Narok town on to Mara. After lunch, depart for an exciting game drive in Kenya’s most famous reserve with your binoculars! Return to your lodge located on the beautiful Talek River, which attracts a variety of colorful birds and butterflies. You may even spot crocodile and other game along the banks of the river.

Day 5 Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve, with great chances of viewing lion, zebra, giraffe, gazelle, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest amongst other wildlife.

Day 6 Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi-Depart

After breakfast depart the Masai Mara and head across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms, vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley onto Nairobi. Arrive into the bustling capital in the early afternoon. Lunch is on your own. Transfer to the airport for your onward arrangements.
